Roseland Community Hospital hosted its first Veterans Health Fair & Blood Drive in conjunction with Veterans of Foreign Wars Major Charles L. Hunt Post 2024.
The RCH Veterans Health Fair & Blood Drive was designed to be an opportunity to connect with area veterans by providing valuable information and free health screenings. RCH provided blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screenings.
The Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and the Chicago Department of Human Relations Advisory Council on Veterans Affairs provided information about benefits available to Veterans in the areas of health services and housing.
More than 300 Veterans were seen at RCH last year, so the hospital is committed to offering more programs that will specifically benefit Veterans as we continue to strengthen our relationship with ALL veterans in the Greater Roseland Community.
