RCH Emergency Room
RCH has a 19 bay area along with a FastTrack that holds 3 beds. The area is generally for the patients with ESI 4/5 that can be quickly seen by a mid–level provider. All bays have glass doors and a ventilation system. All rooms are a single occupant. Unit secretary on duty with multiple phones. Area/Bays preferred/designated for behavioral patients entering the facility. This main area is separated from E.D. waiting area.
Number of Beds: 19 Bays, 3 Triage/Patient processing The number of Isolation Rooms: All bays are equipped to be isolation double doors and ventilation except, the rooms in the Triage Area.
